NIAID CEIRS recognizes that the data and information obtained through Center research will be extremely valuable resources and that the rapid sharing of these data will be essential in advancing research on influenza and developing therapeutics, vaccines, and diagnostics. CEIRS investigators deposit data through the DPCC into public databases, including:
Influenza Research Database (IRD)
IRD is a public database encompassing avian and non-human mammalian influenza surveillance data, human clinical data, associated metadata for viral isolates, and viral genomic information.
GenBank is a public database of genetic sequences managed by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
Immunology Database and Analysis Portal (ImmPort)
ImmPort is a platform for sustainable archive of diverse data types from scientific researchers supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
